Mmm, I still lick the last bit off the spatula!

Oh, awesome. I hope you love your new air fryer! I also don't know what we did before spatulas. I guess that's why I grew up licking the bowl after my Mum baked. These days with a spatula (and possible salmonella in flour etc) that's kind of redundant.
And yes, I do wash my salad in the spinner. So handy!

We moved and downsized three years ago and threw out a lot of stuff, and I try not to accumulate more stuff to have to find room for, so I deliberated a while, and then cleared the space for it on the counter top and thought about it some more. Also ordered the accessories, as it seemed to me it might be difficult to make the best use of it without customised equipment. I hope it will economise on electricity using the oven less anyway!

Don't know what we did before silicone spatulas, it really bugs me on cooking videos etc seeing people leaving half the food in the bowl or pan. The best I have came from Lakeland in the UK and is shaped like a flat spoon.

Do you know (I'm sure you do but many people I've told don't!) that you can also wash your salad in the spinner, before spin drying it? It's really effective and saves a lot of splashing about!

My kitchen is actually pretty small, but I do have a pantry where all the food is, so the cupboard space I do have can be used for my "toys"!

Obviously having a LARGE kitchen with lots of storage is also essential for all you "toys"! One of my favourite hand tools is a MUSHROOM SLICER that makes very quick work of the fungi.

Interesting! That definitely solves the very frustrating problem of just being about to bake something and finding your batteries have died!

Can’t speak to longevity yet but am very pleased with it.

I'm also going to buy the pasta press and the pasta roller to make my own noodles - no more dried, chalky, starchy boxes for me - I can even make spinach noodles or even PUMPKIN spaghetti! Oh, and mix stuff too. ;-) Honestly, this thing is like the Holy Grail of kitchen appliances. I also have a KitchenAid immersion blender. No Blendtec or Vitamix (yet), but my Oster does a bang-up job for now. Need a good kitchen scale, still building up my "arsenal", but it's getting there. And I cheat...I have a bread machine. Still want a good Dutch oven for artisanal loaves, though.

Your list is a good one that I'll be consulting when it's time to add another...but that espresso machine...DANG!!! Pricey isn't strong enough of a word!! Would love to have one, though!

I have an Oxo Good Grips Oven thermometer for checking the temperature of the oven, but I don't have one for measuring the temperature of food. I know a lot of food bloggers who love the Thermoworks one though. It's called a Thermapen. It's very accurate apparently. Hope that helps!
