I was craving hummus this afternoon, so I whipped up this fabulous recipe & it was delicious! I really enjoyed the little bit of sweetness the maple syrup added with the warmth of the curry. I did the raisin/almond topper and that made the perfect finish. Thank you Melanie for this great recipe.

Looks like a great recipe, Mel; will try it soon (currently have some hummus on the go). We use hummus as a sandwich spread (as well as baba ganoush, so it is good to have some variations.

I also appreciate that you include oil-free how to in your recipes. Although, in this case - the Syrian couple I buy hummus from at our local farmers market tell me that in their tradition, olive oil is not added in the making, but is drizzled on the edge of the plate when it is being served. Ditto with baba ganoush, which gives us very delicious and healthy options.
