I do like it but I think next time I’ll leave the banana out. It just overpowers the taste of the chocolate. So smooth and creamy though! Will make again!

In reply to Crystal. If it helps you can't really taste the sweet potato, but I think butternut squash or pumpkin would work really well too. As they tend to be a bit looser though, I would hold the milk until you have blended everything else up. You might not need any of it but see how you go. Bear in mind that the pudding does thicken as it refrigerates so when you first make it, it should be a little bit looser than you would ultimately like. Hope that helps!

Hello, I just came across this recipe. I do LOVE a good chocolate pudding. However, I DO NOT like sweet potatoes at all. I am wondering if anyone has had any luck substituting pumpkin or butternut squash for the sweet potatoes. They are similar in texture but different enough in taste that I actually like both.

I like this recipe a lot. It's very simple and all the good stuff that you just don't associate with chocolate pudding ;) I can see myself making this often from now on.
